About Erika

Erika (she/her) supports the development of Canvas courses, consults on the creation of instructional media, and manages scheduling for the IDC studios. She also produces and edits a variety of audio and video projects, including podcasts, lectures, and special projects.

Erika earned her Masters degree in Dance Anthropology from the University of Roehampton-London and her Bachelors degree in Dance and Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. In 2020, she earned a certificate in Instructional Design from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Based on her educational experience, Erika values collaboration, creative experimentation, and learner-centered designs. She is interested in exploring embodied learning and learning space design.

Erika loves going to the park with her dog, kayaking in the Driftless Area, and trying fitness classes (Aerial Sling, Gymnastics, Dance, etc). She enjoys watching early silent films, seeing live performances, and traveling.
