About Molly

Molly (she/her) develops and facilitates L&S initiatives, including the L&S Exchange Podcast, L&S Mini Discussions, and the L&S Design for Learning Series, that help academic departments, teaching teams, and individual instructors pursue teaching excellence. She enjoys researching current pedagogical practices and engaging with instructors from across the College to broaden and deepen conversations about teaching and learning. Molly also provides teaching consultation to help instructors creatively solve classroom challenges.

Molly has over 10 years of experience in teaching, learning, and administration at UW-Madison. While earning her PhD in Classics, she was a teaching assistant and lecturer in several departments and an active member of the UW Teaching Academy’s executive committee. Before joining the IDC, Molly worked in academic affairs at the UW School of Veterinary Medicine.

Molly is an avid runner and enjoys training with friends for races ranging from the 5K to the marathon. She also likes to read and watch college football.
